Most of us expect motherhood to be all fun and exciting. But there will be days when you don’t enjoy your kids and you just want to take a break from them. And you ask yourself, “how does everyone do it while I’m over here failing?” Then you spiral down into the rabbit hole again.
You Can Rise Above It
But the thing is, motherhood CAN be fun and exciting when you just give yourself a space to be happy. And the truth is, we only see a few parts of what’s going on in other people’s lives that we envy about. We are all struggling as moms, but we can all rise above our challenges!
One of the amazing Rising Moms I’ve met is Ashley. She came from a depressed, overwhelmed, and tired footing to a happy, balanced, and abundant motherhood. She wanted joy in her life so that is what she set herself out for. (See also what you need to know about scarcity vs. abundance.)

Taking care of yourself does wonders to not just you, but also your relationship with your family. Imagine pouring into your kids this massive amount of love that’s coming from a mom who’s in a place of feeling calm, confident and joyful. 25 years down the road, they will know that they were loved 100% by a woman who absolutely loved being their mom. Remember, self love doesn’t have to be extravagant. You only have to do what makes you happy no matter how simple it may be.
