Trying to find motivation and integrating it consistently into our lives can really hold us back from achieving our goals. Another problem is that most of the time, management and productivity tips we find do not fit our mom life schedules. Because we have to consider that we have less “free” time available while caring for our kiddos. And our time needs to be structured and managed differently.
Be Intentional and Realistic
It might be hard for us, but overcoming this is possible! One of the common mistakes moms make is putting so many goals on one plate. We’re rushing to achieve this and that, but it’s not necessarily about doing A LOT of things in as less time as possible— it’s rather eliminating as much to-dos as possible, in a given time frame.
It’s not about piling and piling, but it’s about picking up a goal that makes the most sense in a season, and then making an intentional plan after. Remember that ‘busy’ doesn’t mean successful. We could be doing a million different things at the same time but what’s going to make the most impact on our personal development?
