Now more than ever, people are tuning in to social media because of the pandemic. You see more varying opinions, experiences, and updates online. And this has been causing more polarity among us than I’ve ever seen before.
Since we are connecting more on social media, our lives become more filtered in the eyes of one another. Thus, I have created this episode because social media has been one of the things that has been triggering so much of our comparison trap! (See how self-doubt can sabotage your mom life.)
Remember that people on social media are putting only what they want others to see. It’s a filter. And I understand that It’s difficult to not compare ourselves to others. Even I am not immune to this! I have found some ways to use our comparative thinking to our advantage because the meaning that you place on your comparison can literally make or break you.
