The Reasons we Hold Onto Busy with Kelly Drake
Have you ever laid on your couch and stared into nothing because you felt paralyzed by the overwhelm? And then that feeling you get when you don’t know what to do anymore despite having a long to-do list?
Mama, please know that you are not alone. Most of us feel that way because we’re just doing the same things over and over again and we want to be something else other than being a mom. As a result, we want to do the things that we love, but we’re just too ‘busy’ for that.
Simplify Your Life
Don’t fall into the ‘busy’ trap. And let go of the notion that we are more valuable as a person when we have more and do more; that the busier you are and the more stuff you have equals how important you are. That’s NOT TRUE!
You are already important, valuable, and worthy just being yourself, Mama!
So when you want to change your life, the first step is to declutter. For instance, narrow down your list of to-dos based on the things that matter to you. And you need to work out only saying yes to things that will help you become the person you want to be. Simplify your life!
Catch Kelly and I together share tips on how you can start your journey towards simple living and how you can let go of the chaos around you. (Find out the fastest way to a cleaner home.)

Meet Kelly
Kelly Drake is a wife of 13 years and mom to 3 kids (10,8,6). She lives in Michigan with her family and their plethora of pets including their dog, cats and chickens.
Her journey with Intentional Simplicity began a few years ago when she began experiencing anxiety and realized that it was caused by jet over cluttered home and jammed packed schedule. She spent the next 6 months eliminating almost 50% of the tangible items in their home and eliminating commitments on their schedule. Kelly began sharing her journey through her blog, speaking at women’s events and doing one on one organizing sessions with clients.
She believes that we are living distracted by busyness, clutter and commitment and just might be missing out on the life God has called us to love.
